Environmental scan of in-process research activities in Canada related to health, HIV and aging Cover Image E-book E-book

Environmental scan of in-process research activities in Canada related to health, HIV and aging / [Jonathan Glenn Betteridge] ; Canadian Working Group on HIV and Rehabilitation.

Summary:

The increasing number of people aging with HIV in Canada, and the complexity of aging with HIV, presents new challenges for the health and well-being of this group of people, and for health and social services. The knowledge produced by research is crucial to developing effective responses to the full range of these challenges, across a range of health domains, and program and service settings. In January and February of 2013 we undertook and environmental scan of in-process research relevant to HIV and aging. The purpose was to twofold: First, to create and make publicly available a searchable point-in-time inventory of in-process Canadian research activities related to HIV and aging. Second, to systematically identify, and provide preliminary analysis of, HIV and aging related research being undertaken in Canada.
