Our plan provides new ideas and new initiatives that will encourage new growth in every region of Newfoundland and Labrador. We must invest in people if we are to grow and prosper as a province. The current approach is not working. We have hundreds of millions of dollars in surpluses, yet people are suffering. Outmigration is occurring at an alarming rate; our social and health care programs are in crisis; people are struggling to heat their homes because of the increased cost of living. The issues of ordinary people must be addressed.
