Summary: This document provides a cursory review of some of the barriers that affect women's access to HIV testing in Canada, from the perspective of service providers. It draws from a community-based research project carried out between October 2009 and May 2010, by a Programs Consultant at the Canadian AIDS Society, working in consultation with a Steering Committee that represented various organizations and communities in Canada.
