Some historical background is provided in this program along with an interview with Elder Elijah Mayham. The program is presented to assist the viewer in a better understanding of Treaty no. 5 from a historical and legal perspective. Moore importantly, the video incorporates the oral understanding of the treaty from an Elder's point of view, which it is believed reflects the true spirit and intent of the treaties.
