We have such things at home

Cullingham, James. (Added Author).

Summary: This film investigates the parallels and differences between the plight of Native peoples in Canada and conditions faced by Black South Africans. At the dawn of the post-apartheid era, the camera follows a delegation of Canadian Natives led by Phil Fontaine on a voyage of discovery of South Africa. With Canadian Native peoples still seeking self-determination, this ground-breaking documentary reveals the often disturbing links between these countries over "Native" policy. The film also documents the return visit of South African land claims officials to reserves in Manitoba.
